Lexus has released a second teaser image ahead of its Detroit Motor Show Debut of a new addition to the F portfolio’, which is believed to be Lexus' BMW M4 rivaling RC-F.
However, from this teaser we can see that the RC-F will be fitted with a snarling bonnet vent and the manufactures’ trademark spindle grille. The RC-F will also incorporate some of the RC Coupe's LED headlights.
Behind that striking bonnet vent is a 5.0-liter V8 which will push around 455hp. Also an electronic-cylinder-deactivation system which deactivates 4 cylinders of the V8 under partial throttle to save fuel is also a possibility.
The Lexus RC-F is expected to cost around the £65,000 mark when the model arrives in 2014.

Even if the IS-F and RC-F manage to out perform the competition (which is very possible) kids here will just forever associated Lexus as "old people cars" or "fancy beige Toyotas" Very sad :(

Well think about it, Jaguar's have forever been labelled 'the old mans car'. Yet they release monstrous cars like the XKR-S that can probably give an old man a heart attack. People can say what they want, the only reason they want to is because they don't want to face reality and accept that a car maker can get sick of being labelled certain things and have the ability to let their hair down. I say fuck'em.
